      Every Parent Needs This Book

I bought this book a couple years ago and I have referred to it a countless amount of times. Itā€™s helped to ease my mind at 2am and guide my care for my child when sick. I have bought many more and gifted them to new mothers. Best present for baby showers.

          Concise and useful

This handy 54-page guide is very clearly written for parents facing potentially scary situations that usually take place outside office hours. There are diagrams, checklists, and other quick ways for a parent to assess whether their child is uncomfortable or needing urgent care. It has 11 sectiopns that address major situations, like “Fever,” “Head Injuries,” etc. There are many voluminous medical books (and web sites) that suffer from too much information–who hasn’t followed a Web MD page about some minor illness all the way to its conclusion that you’ll probably die? This avoids all that by acting as a diagnostic to when you need medical care to determine what the next step is, not what the next step actually is. It’s actually a pretty comforting and reasonable document. Dr. Greenberg has done a great job here.
